So what is the difference between "asexual" and  "agender"? What is this "Bechdel Test" I keep hearing about, and why does it matter? What is the "male gaze" and why do I keep hearing about something called "genderbending"? In this panel we shall discuss the basics of gender studies and how they specifically apply to the world of anime and the Otaku community. This will provide a useful basis for the study and appreciation of the manga and anime arts, and how they impact on modern culture.
